Letting options

Fordingtons Lettings offer three main services. In addition Fordingtons can offer any part of the letting process as an individual service. From a one off preparation of a tenancy agreement through to Full Management, Fordingtons are able to tailor make a service to suit individual requirements.

Tenant Search & Set-Up Service

This service is ideal for landlords who wish to manage their own properties and who would like to be in direct contact with their tenants. We will set up the tenancy in its entirety ready for the landlord to take over.

Rent Collection Service

This is aimed at landlords who wish to deal with maintenance and property inspections themselves, but who wish to have a professional agent collect the rent and deal with all matters connected with rent collection only.

Full Management Service

This is by far our most popular service. It is designed to free the landlord of any worries in connection with the letting of their property. This service is ideal for those landlords who wish to have a professional agent deal with the day to day management and rent collection of their property and who choose not to have direct contact with the tenant. You will benefit from the same set up and account procedures as to the previous services but we will also provide a fully comprehensive management facility, which is unique to our company.

We will deal with the tenant directly and at the end of the tenancy we will carry out a final inspection to include checking the inventory *. We will deal with any issues relating to the deposit according to current legislation. The deposit will then be refunded to the tenant after the careful inspection of the property and when all has been agreed between landlord and tenant.

Fordingtons Lettings are proud to be members of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents). ARLA is the only professional and regulatory body solely concerned with residential lettings. It requires its members to adhere to strict guidelines and in return it keeps its members up to date with changes in legislation and the many other requirements necessary for a successful lettings practice.
